Expert Database Architect Introduction: As an Expert Database Architect, you will be responsible for designing data infrastructure to extract and organize enterprise data systems. You will bridge the gap between business needs and complex technology, ensuring that the data is secure, highly available, scalable, and compliant with New York State policies and regulations.
Responsibilities: Monitor DFS Snowflake credit usage, adjust resource monitors, and tune virtual warehouses Manage Snowflake users and roles, enforce security policies, and audit Snowflake access Write and tune SQL queries, build Snowflake ELT pipelines, manage compute and cost, and configure security and governance Build and update Informatica mappings and configure workflows Perform unit testing and validate data integrity Troubleshoot failures and tune performance Document ETL process, security policies, system architecture, user guides, etc.
